Conair – Vintage Glam, Modern Share: Event Spotlight
Bold Colour Meets Retro Vibes
Conair has been making hair tools for decades, so for their Ulta Beauty world Convention booth we went back to their roots. The space was vibrant and colouful, with displays of new brushes and styling tools lining a circular layout.

One Big Focal Point
Instead of cluttering the booth, we anchored the centre with a single photo experience:
- Retro‑inspired booth – We brought in our classic photo booth and customized its exterior to echo Conair’s 1960s heritage . The design felt vintage but not dated.
- Modern convenience – Inside, guests snapped photos and instantly received both prints and digital copies via text. This marriage of old‑school charm and new‑school sharing kept visitors talking.
- Colouful floor & product demos – The soft, cushioned floor and perimeter product displays encouraged guests to explore after their photos, tying the whole space together.


Why It Works
By focusing on one eye‑catching element and letting everything else support it, Conair created a destination rather than another trade‑show stop. The activation reminded attendees that heritage brands can still surprise—and it shows planners how a single well‑executed element can anchor a booth and draw a crowd.
